Construction of Vingroup electric vehicle battery factory gets underway
Vingroup began construction of an electric vehicle battery factory in north-central Ha Tinh province on December 12, on 8 ha in the first phase and with total investment of VND4 trillion ($174 million). Boasting an automation level of over 80 per cent, it will be the first and most modern electric car battery factory in Vietnam, using advanced technologies meeting US and European standards.
