Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Mr. Bui Duy Cuong, set a target to complete site clearance within a maximum of three months for projects with favorable conditions, particularly those situated primarily on agricultural land.

The task force is tasked with monitoring and directing solutions to accelerate social housing investment across the city. It must strictly implement the city's directives to ensure that construction on social housing projects officially commences in 2026 and early 2027.

This initiative is part of the city’s broader goal to complete 120,000 social housing units during the 2026–2030 period.
