Vietnam’s tourism industry is seriously short of highly-qualified human resources, especially in senior management positions. According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, with the goal of developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector, 40,000 qualified workers are needed each year.

Da Nang has a key role to play as a growth nucleus for the central key economic region, not only in terms of planning, infrastructure, and investment environment but also in human resources. The city pays particular attention to attracting talent and improving the quality of training so it stands ready to welcome a new wave of investment, especially FDI.
