
Imported CBU vehicles down in October
The General Department of Vietnam Customs has reported that more than 14,300 completely-built-up (CBU) motor vehicles worth more than $319 million were imported in October, down 21.8 per cent in volume and 13.2 per cent in turnover compared to September. Imports in the first ten months totaled more than 128,800 vehicles worth nearly $3 billion, down 0.5 per cent in volume but up 1.7 per cent in turnover year-on-year.
