Cooperative deal signed for offshore wind power

On September 9, during his official visit to Belgium, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the country’s T&T Group and Danish sustainable energy company Ørsted on strategic cooperation in Vietnam’s offshore wind power sector. The two companies will invest about $30 billion to build offshore wind power projects in south-central Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces, with a total installed capacity of nearly 10 GW.
