The northern province of Vietnam prioritizes sectors where Sweden holds significant expertise, such as high-tech industries, precision engineering, pharmaceuticals, information technology, innovation, and tourism.
The northern North province has expressed a strong desire for Spanish investors to fund four strategic pillars, including high-tech industries and semiconductors, logistics infrastructure, tourism, and ecological agriculture-forestry combined with the carbon credit market.
According to the proposal, the projected Viet Tri - Hoa Binh Expressway would span approximately 55 km with a four-lane scale. The project is expected to be invested in before 2030, with an estimated total investment of over VND15 trillion ($570 million).
Vietnam's northern Phu Tho Province aims to attract enterprises specializing in semiconductors, electronic components, data centers, and artificial intelligence (AI).
If approved, the total investment for the entire section will rise to over VND9.4 trillion (nearly $362 million), with the implementation period projected for 2026–2028.
