New road to link Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Highway
A project to build a 6.7-km long road connecting Thang Long Boulevard in Hanoi with the Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh Highway at a cost of VND5.5 trillion ($237.74 million) will be implemented from now to 2026. The project will develop Hanoi to the west and southwest and connect it with the Ho Chi Minh Highway.
Can Tho proposes ODA funding for development project
The Can Tho City People’s Committee has proposed using ODA capital for a sustainable development project to adapt to climate change, with total investment of more than VND2.7 trillion ($118.2 million). Expected foreign donors supporting implementation include the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the French Development Agency (AFD), and the German Bank for Reconstruction (KfW).
