Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has signed Decision No. 1113/QD-TTg from the Prime Minister assigning State budget capital to the socio-economic recovery and development program. VND147.138 trillion ($6.2 billion) will go to ministries, central agencies, and localities according to sectors and fields specified in Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 from the National Assembly.

At a meeting on July 28 with leaders from ministries and agencies to discuss solutions to control inflation, stabilize the macro-economic situation, and promote socio-economic recovery and development, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the key task and top priority is to continue with existing efforts and ensure major balances.

The National Assembly (NA) has approved fiscal and monetary policies to support Vietnam’s socio-economic recovery and development. The policy package totals nearly VND350 trillion ($15.5 billion) and will be implemented this year and next.
