Deputy PM approves chemical industry development stategy

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has approved the Strategy for the Development of Vietnam’s Chemical Industry to 2030 and Vision to 2040. By 2030, growth in the chemical industry is to average 10-11 per cent a year and the proportion of the chemical industry in all of industry is to reach 4-5 per cent. The strategy prioritizes the development of key sub-sectors and at the same time forms large-scale chemical complexes in order to build a complete chemical industry to meet domestic and export demand.
