Southern Tay Ninh province has been assigned to build the first phase of the Go Dau - Xa Mat Expressway, which stretches nearly 28 km and has total investment of nearly VND5.2 trillion ($227.18 million), before 2030. The route, from the north to the south of the province, will connect with the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, which runs to Vietnam’s border with Cambodia.
According to planning, the existing urban area in Long Thanh Trung ward in southern Tay Ninh province is to be turned into a multi-functional commercial and service, administrative, and urban tourism service center. The province is set to be a driving force for the southern key economic region’s development and a gateway for Vietnam’s international trade.
