Though only established in early 2020, the Masan Group’s The CrownX has received investment of $350 million from leading global investors. The Group also aims to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) for The CrownX on an international stock exchange in the 2023-2024 period.

Masan and the SK Group have signed an agreement to purchase shares in The CrownX - an FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) retail platform owned by Masan Consumer Holdings and WinCommerce - with a total value of $345 million. Alibaba and Baring Private Equity Asia invested $400 million last May in purchasing 5.5 per cent of The CrownX.
