Vietnam's exporters faced a barrage of new trade defense measures in 2023, with the US continuing its role as the largest user of such tactics.
Project to address trade remedies
Vietnam’s process of international economic integration has increased the number of foreign trade remedy cases against its exports. The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is therefore developing an action plan to implement a project entitled “Strengthening capacity in trade remedies in the context of participating in new-generation FTAs”.
