Deputy PM Ho Quoc Dung directed ministries, sectors, and local authorities to prioritize the development of the durian brand, Thus establishing a brand identity so that the international market immediately associates durians with Vietnam.

It is anticipated that by July this year, Indian authorities will finalize the necessary procedures to permit durian imports from Vietnam.

Cumulatively for the first nine months of 2025, durian exports to the Chinese market reached approximately $2.59 billion, nearly equivalent to the same period in 2024.
