In a recent publication from Vietnam Report, many analysts participating in a survey said the “shadow” cast by the pandemic has receded and largely given way to a brighter picture being seen in the banking industry over the course of the second half of 2022. Respondents, however, also pointed to a series of “gray areas” that the banking industry must pay attention to.

Stock market poised to develop strongly this year

According to Vietnam Report, Vietnam’s stock market is facing risks from high inflation and the impact of the Russia - Ukraine conflict. However, Bloomberg has said that the country’s stock market is rare in Asia, as foreign investors have been net buyers since the beginning of the year. The market is therefore expected to develop strongly in 2022.
