WB supporting Vinh Long in infrastructure development

The World Bank (WB) has signed a funding agreement with the Vietnamese Government worth $126.9 million to help improve access to infrastructure, enhance connectivity, and reduce flood risk in Vinh Long city in the Mekong Delta province of the same name. With a strategic location along the economic corridor connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Delta provinces, Vinh Long city has the potential to become a center of agribusiness, commerce, and tourism in the region.
