The Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has approved a plan to auction minerals mining rights for construction materials in 2023.
The plan includes an auction of mining rights for an 8-ha mine in the north-central province’s Tuong Son commune with a reserve of 1.7 million cu m.
Last month, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Duc Giang also signed a decision giving the go-ahead to the auction of mining rights for a clay mine for use as construction materials in Tho Tien commune. The mine covers an area of 2.94 ha with a reserve of 156,103 cu m.
In February, the province publicized mining rights for ten mines.
There is an ongoing shortage of construction materials, particularly sand and land for leveling, causing delays in many projects. The Provincial People’s Committee therefore approved auction plans to help ensure the supply of construction materials.
