Central Thanh Hoa province posted export revenue of nearly $565 million in February, marking a significant increase of 77.42% year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
The figures bring the province's total export value in the first two months of the year to over $1 billion, soaring 30.94% compared to the same period last year and equal to 13.45% of the yearly target.
Key export products include garments and textiles, footwear and cement.
Meanwhile, during the two-month period, the province imported products worth more than $1.4 billion, equal to 90.7% of the same period last year.
Major import products include crude oil, materials, footwear materials and machines and equipment.
