The joint closure of a bridge spanning Dao river in northern Nam Dinh province was completed on December 16, after 25 months since the construction of the bridge started.
The total length of the bridge and the two approaching roads is 1.6 km.
The investment capital for the project was estimated at around VND1.2 trillion ($47 million).
The bridge, connecting Song Hao road with Vu Huu Loi road in the province’s Nam Dinh city, is scheduled to open to traffic in early 2025.
This is one of key projects expected to help boost the province’s socio-economic development, according to Nam Dinh city’s People’s Committee.
The project will enhance the connectivity between Nam Đình city and local districts, and meet local demand for transportation and travelling.
