Three air routes of Vietnam have been named among the top 10 busiest domestic flight routes in Southeast Asia in August 2024, according to data from OAG, the world's leading provider of digital flight information, intelligence, and analytics for airports, airlines, and travel tech companies, the Government News has reported.

They are the Ha Noi-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi-Da Nang, and Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh City routes.

The data are based on the number of seats sold on flights.

The air route connecting the capital city of Hanoi with the southern metropolis HCM City was ranked as the busiest domestic air route in the region with a total of 949,246 seats sold in August.

The Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang - Hanoi routes were in fifth and seventh places with 427,779 and 410,000 seats, respectively.
