Central Da Nang city attracted 204,600 foreign visitors in July, a 212.1 per cent increase year-on-year, figures from the city’s Statistics Office show.
Domestic visitors totaled 577,200, up 54.9 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Revenue from accommodation and catering services amounted to over VND2.18 trillion ($91.5 million), for year-on-year growth of 30.7 per cent.
The figures brought the total number of tourists to the city in the first seven months of the year to more than 4.32 million, rising 110.3 per cent year-on-year. International tourists stood at over 1.14 million, a 7.7-fold increase.
Total revenue during the seven-month period was estimated at over VND12.98 trillion ($545 million), up 39.5 per cent year-on-year.
