The Trung Nguyen Legend Corporation, part of the well-known Vietnamese coffee maker the Trung Nguyen Group, has officially opened its first representative office in South Korea’s capital Seoul as part of its strategy to take Vietnamese coffee to global consumers.
The new office, which opened on March 28, is located in Gangnam district, a popular entertainment and shopping center.
This is Trung Nguyen Legend’s second international office, after opening its first in Shanghai in 2017.
The opening marks the next stage of development by the Vietnamese coffee giant in the country, as well as its journey to promote the best Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee beans to the world. By choosing Gangnam district, Trung Nguyen seeks to create a solid position to continue to implement its promotional activities and elevate its brand and the cultural value of Vietnamese coffee in the international arena.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, H.E. Nguyen Vu Tung, said the opening is evidence of the close friendship between the two nations.
In a statement released by Trung Nguyen Legend, it said the average South Korean citizen consumes 367 cups of coffee a year. The country is also a coffee-savvy market that leads global trends in consumption and appreciation.
According to Nielsen ratings in 2020, Trung Nguyen Legend’s G7 was among the top 5 most popular and purchased coffee brands through online channels. G7 coffee products such as G7 3in1, G7 pure black, and G7 Cappuccino have a strong presence in leading commercial networks in South Korea such as Coupang, the country’s largest online retailer, and top shopping malls such as Lotte Mart, Homeplus, and Emart, and is available on its own official sales channel, at https://g7coffee.co.kr/.
