On May 25, in Seoul, South Korea, the T&T Group visited and held discussions with the DB Group, one of the leading economic conglomerates in the country. The two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement during the meeting to promote investment and business activities in various sectors in Vietnam, including the insurance sector.

In the current context of slowing economic growth and recession and amid other difficulties and challenges worldwide, the cooperation between the T&T Group and the DB Group demonstrates the efforts of Vietnamese and South Korean businesses in actively seeking new cooperative opportunities with great potential and prospects for development.

According to the agreement, through their strategic cooperation, the T&T Group and the DB Group will actively support each other to become leading enterprises in Vietnam’s insurance sector. They have also committed to jointly seek opportunities and implement investment projects in various other sectors to create comprehensive value.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of the T&T Group, said that based on the initial cooperation, with the common goal of leading Vietnam’s insurance sector, both parties have recognized the many other areas of strengths they possess, such as finance, asset management, information technology, and real estate, etc., which need to be explored to fully unleash their potential and demonstrate a long-term vision and comprehensive development for both groups.

“This close cooperation will open up new development opportunities and contribute to enhancing the business efficiency, market position, and competitiveness of both groups, aiming for long-term sustainable development and creating value and benefits for businesses, communities, and society, to contribute to the strong development of the Vietnamese and South Korean economies and to foster increasingly solid cooperation between the two countries,” Mr. Quang emphasized.

On behalf of the DB Group, Vice Chairwoman Ms. Kim Ju Won expressed a hope that based on the experience and capabilities of both parties, this cooperation will help the DB Group and the T&T Group become good partners who can cooperate in various fields.
