Vietnam recorded total trade turnover of $96.06 billion in the opening two months of 2023, down 13.2 per cent year-on-year, the General Statistics Office (GSO) announced on February 28.

Exports recorded turnover of $49.44 billion, a year-on-year decline of 10.4 per cent. Fuel and mineral exports were estimated at $652 million, processed industrial products $44.38 billion, agro-forestry products $3.4 billion, and seafood $1.01 billion.

Total trade turnover in February was $49.46 billion, up 6.1 per cent against January and 1.8 per cent year-on-year, with exports at $25.88 billion.

Eight products posted export turnover in excess of $1 billion in the first two months, accounting for 69.9 per cent of the total, while three posted more than $5 billion.
