With only days to go before Venture Forum 2026, the high-level dialogue forum on M&A and private capital is set to take place on June 12 in Ho Chi Minh City. The event is expected to draw leading technology and financial investors from across Asia as Vietnam continues to attract growing interest from international funds and high-growth enterprises.
Venture Forum is an annual platform initiated and organized by VinVentures, Vingroup’s technology investment fund. This year’s edition, themed “Vietnam’s M&A Moment – The Unseen Dynamics,” is supported by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Lotte Ventures, and Impact Square.
Held at Vinpearl Landmark 81, the forum will bring together more than 500 participants, including business leaders, investment funds, financial institutions, high-growth technology startups, and organizations from across the innovation ecosystem in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
According to the organizers, the larger scale of this year’s event and the broader profile of participants underscore growing international investor interest in the Vietnamese market.
Following Venture Forum 2025, this year’s forum adopts a new focus on M&A and private capital, two strategic themes increasingly shaping how technology companies secure funding, expand operations, and build competitive advantages.
The discussions will examine M&A as a potential pathway alongside public listings, offering perspectives on growth, scale, and value creation for Vietnam’s technology enterprises.
In addition to panel discussions, Venture Forum 2026 will feature networking sessions connecting investors with potential M&A opportunities. The organizers expect these engagements to foster deeper conversations on partnerships, capital needs, and the potential for transactions beyond the forum itself.
Venture Forum 2026 is designed to serve as an annual platform for dialogue on M&A and private capital in the region while strengthening connections between Vietnam’s investment ecosystem and international capital markets.
Venture Forum 2026 will feature six thematic discussion sessions:
• Session 1: Vietnam – An undervalued opportunity?
• Session 2: Different strategies, one destination: Why are Asian conglomerates accelerating M&A activities in Vietnam?
• Session 3: From deployment to exit: Is DPI still the most meaningful measure of private capital performance?
• Session 4: From scaling up to exiting: When should founders make the call?
• Session 5: Legal frameworks and M&A activity: What drives deals and what holds them back?
• Session 6: Solving succession challenges through M&A: When capital partners with the next generation of leadership
