Vietnam is in a position to become the next chip design hub in Southeast Asia given the number of giant foreign semiconductor manufacturers relocating to the country. By Bao Tram.

Fifty years ago, France became the first Western country to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam, laying a foundation for bilateral cooperation in the time since. The relationship has grown steadily in all fields and over many generations, especially in the context of this year being the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the signing of the bilateral strategic partnership agreement.

Links between Vietnam and France have developed incredibly well in the 50 years since diplomatic relations were established.
