Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk agreed to boost economic cooperation with the aim of achieving the bilateral trade turnover of $5 billion during their talks held in Warsaw on January 16.
The two PMs agreed to promote cooperation in trade-investment, science and technology, transport, education and training, digital transformation, information technology, shipbuilding and cyber security.
The two PMs agreed to consider lifting up the Vietnam-Poland relations to a new height based on the high level of political trust and the fine achievements in bilateral cooperation over the last 75 years.
Poland is the biggest trade partner of Vietnam in Central and Eastern Europe and the two-way trade between the two countries has kept increasing over the past year, reaching over $3.2 billion in 2024, up 14% year-on-year.
