The Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) 2025 was held in Hanoi on November 10 with the theme "Businesses Partnering with the Government for a Green Transition in the Digital Era."

Addressing the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted the historical significance of VBF, with  its 2025 edition's theme focusing on green transition and digital transformation, which is not only a global trend but also a "political determination" and "action" by Vietnam to renew traditional growth drivers and effectively exploit new ones.

He reiterated the Government's commitment to improving the business environment by speeding up administrative reform and digital transformation, streamlining administrative procedures, building a digital Government, digital economy, and digital society.

Vietnam will also focus on developing green and digital infrastructure, particularly logistics infrastructure, big data, and clean energy; training high-quality workforce for high-quality FDI projects, according to the PM.

Focus will also be placed on renewing traditional growth drivers (investment, exports, consumption) while vigorously exploiting new growth drivers, he said.

He called on FDI enterprises to expand investments in Vietnam, step up partnership with Vietnamese businesses and team up with the Government in building institutional framework and modernizing governance.

The Prime Minister also called on the business community to further enhance social responsibility, particularly for environmental issues and green growth.
