The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) hosted its annual Business Awards 2025 on October 30 to honor outstanding contributions made by European and Vietnamese businesses to sustainable economic development in Vietnam.
The event which gathered government partners, international investors, and business leaders, braced the theme “Wings of Change,” symbolising the courage and transformation required for progress.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Bruno Jaspaert, EuroCham Chairman remarked that true change demands resilience and collective effort. "Just as Vietnam rises to new heights, the European business community is proud to accompany this journey – helping Vietnam rise green, rise strong, and rise together," he said.
The 2025 EuroCham Business Awards introduced an inclusive new format, with two award tiers in every category – one for large enterprises (LEs) and another for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – recognising that businesses of all sizes form the backbone of Vietnam’s resilient economy.
In the Green Business of the Year with Large Enterprise Winner, De Heus Vietnam was hornored as a mature sustainability leader, integrating responsible practices across every layer of its operations. With SME Winner, Turn Green impressed the jury with its pioneering approach to circular manufacturing and zero-waste production. Fellow finalists: Recover and Orbitify.
In the Business Innovation Award with Large Enterprise Winner, Becamex Group was hornored by its eco-industrial parks and “Sustainability Smart Plan 2050,” reimagining Vietnam’s industrial landscape. With SME Winner, Many Touches JSC was hornored as an inspiring example of local ingenuity with its wearable payment and access solution.
The winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges whose collective expertise spanned sustainability, innovation, development, and media – ensuring a well-rounded and transparent evaluation process.
The panel of judges include Mr. Rogier Becker, Senior International Project Manager at Larive, specialist in aquaculture and agricultural business expansion; Ms. Silvia Danailov, Representative of UNICEF Vietnam, with over 25 years’ experience in human rights, gender equality, and sustainable development; Mr. Dao Quang-Binh, Vice-Chairman of the Editorial Board and General Managing Editor of the VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times, a veteran journalist with over 45 years of experience shaping Vietnam’s business media; Ms. Hang Phan, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Green Building Council & APAC Sustainability Market Development Director at Saint-Gobain, leading voice in sustainable construction; Dr. Viet-Dung Trinh, Asia Campus Director of Kuehne Logistics University, expert in entrepreneurship, branding, and sustainable leadership.

“As a member of the judging panel for the EuroCham's Business Awards 2025, I am truly impressed by the spirit of innovation, creativity, and social responsibility demonstrated by both European and Vietnamese enterprises," Mr. Dao Quang Binh shared. "The projects recognized this year not only showcase strong sustainable business performance but also reflect a deep commitment to green growth, digital transformation, and global integration."
Mr. Binh also noted that the theme ‘Wings of Change’ carries a special meaning — it symbolizes the aspiration and courage to transform for progress. "I firmly believe that through the initiatives honored, the EU and Vietnamese business communities will continue to move forward together, shaping a future of sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous economic growth for Vietnam," he added.
This year’s edition also introduced the Community Vote for the Community Impact Award, honouring businesses that work for the community – and chosen by the community itself. This new initiative invited members and partners across EuroCham’s network to take part in selecting the winners, underscoring EuroCham’s commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and unity across its growing network.
The award for large enterprises went to Carlsberg Vietnam for its community support programs in the Central region; while Cicor Vietnam was honored in the SME group for its green electronics and energy-saving initiatives.
“By celebrating both large and small enterprises, we affirm that innovation and sustainability are not defined by scale, but by spirit," said Ms. Delphine Rousselet, EuroCham's Executive Director. "Every company honoured tonight is part of Vietnam’s collective transformation story.”
Representing the Ho Chi Minh City leadership, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee, reaffirmed the city’s commitment to supporting foreign investors and advancing sustainable growth. “EuroCham has long been a vital bridge between the City government and the European business community,” he shared. “We remain committed to fostering a stable, transparent environment where European enterprises can thrive and contribute to Vietnam’s development.”
