Vietnam exports seafood worth $51.7 mln to Singapore in 1H

Vietnam earned $51.7 million from seafood exports to Singapore in the first half of the year, surging 0.81% year-on-year, the Vietnam News Agency has reported.

With this result, Vietnam accounts for 9.46% of the market share, maintaining its position as the fifth largest seafood exporter to Singapore for the second consecutive quarter.

Strong growth was recorded in the export of fresh fish with a year-on-year increase of 25.42%.

Vietnamese Trade Counselor in Singapore Cao Xuan Thang advised Vietnamese businesses to further improve the quality of the exports and take an active part in the office’s efforts in connecting with the host country’s peers so as to broaden their presence there.
