“Inno Vietnam - Japan Fast Track Pitch 2023” was officially launched in Hanoi on August 29 by the National Innovation Center (NIC) in conjunction with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
Under the “ASEAN-Japan Co-Creation Fast Track Initiative” and co-organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the program aims to accelerate the global open innovation of Japanese companies and startups.
An NIC leader said the program is being launched in Vietnam for the first time with the goal of attracting innovative businesses and startups from Japan and Southeast Asia to resolve urgent problems facing large-scale enterprises and corporations.
It is expected that cooperation between those with challenges and those with solutions will accelerate knowledge exchange and increase the effectiveness of applying achievements from Industry 4.0.
Mr. Hiroshi Ishikawa, Executive Director of JETRO Singapore and Special Advisor to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, said Inno Vietnam - Japan Fast Track Pitch 2023 will serve as the fastest path for innovative businesses and startups to establish their business and access support agencies and other resources from the government.
