Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and his Russian counterpart Alexander Valentinovich Novak agreed to take specific measures to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly in trade and investment, during phone talks on February 16, the Government News has reported.

Other fields include petroleum, energy, tourism, education and training, and science and technology.

They also agreed to promote the advantages brought about by the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The two affirmed they will adopt measures to tackle obstacles in the implementation of cooperative projects between the two countries.
