The Ministry of Transport has set four main tasks to carry out an action program to implement the Commodity Import-Export Strategy by 2030, including developing a fleet of international transport vessels.

The development of the fleet will help reduce transport costs and facilitate import and export activities.

The ministry will also focus investment resources on important national transport connection projects. Priority will be given to key and modern infrastructure projects, including upgrading Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, building Long Thanh International Airport in southern Dong Nai province, and the construction of the North-South Expressway.

It will also continue to promote the reform of management and inspections of import and export goods, and continue simplifying administrative procedures and business regulations towards the adoption of e-government.
