At the Vietnam New Economy Forum 2025, held on October 2, many solutions were proposed for creating a new growth model, while renewing traditional ones.
The streamlined government will have 14 ministries and three ministry-level agencies, a reduction of five; and five Government-affiliated agencies, down by three.
During its two-day meeting , the Party Central Committee unanimously approved proposals to revise the socio-economic development plans for 2025, aiming for a growth rate of at least 8%, with double-digit expansion expected from 2026 to 2030.
