Following the announcement, Chairman Man took the oath of office. Standing before the national flag, the National Assembly, and voters nationwide, he pledged absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the people, and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

A central focus of the session will be decisions on the organizational structure of the state apparatus, as well as the election and approval of senior personnel — matters considered critical to effective governance throughout the term.
