The Ministry of Justice has submitted to the government a report on amendments and supplements to the Law on Investment in order to attract investors, make use of land resources, and supply the real estate market, thus contributing to the reduction of house prices.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has said that the government is determined to step up all measures to loosen mechanisms, free up resources, and create new drivers to promote economic growth.

The General Statistics Office has proposed adding 36 indicators to the current list of 186 national statistical indicators reflecting 20 fields, in order to be consistent with the country’s reality and new development trends.

Multilateral organizations and international banks have all lowered their forecasts for Vietnam’s economic growth in 2021 yet remain optimistic. They expect a partial recovery in economic activity in the fourth quarter of 2021 and a strong recovery in 2022.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has signed Decision No. 1644/QD-TTg on funding for purchasing and transporting 5 million doses of the Abdala vaccine from Cuba. The funds come from the Vietnam Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.

The Ministry of Transport has issued a plan to temporarily direct the organization of passenger transport in five fields - road, railway, inland waterway, maritime, and airways - from October 1.
