Some 12 Vietnamese enterprises participated in London Packaging Week 2025, held on October 15-16 at ExCel – London's largest national exhibition center, according a report from the Vietnam News Agency.
Making their debut at this leading international packaging trade event, Vietnamese products attracted significant attention from many local and international businesses and consumers.
The Vietnam pavilion showcased a diverse range of packaging products, from packing accessories and materials like compressed wood pallets, self-adhesive labels, roll labels, and shrink wrap, to various packaging materials such as film packaging, corrugated cardboard packaging, woven PP bags, cement bags, and more.
Mr. Le Dinh Ba, Commercial Counsellor at the Vietnam Trade Office in the UK, stated that by organizing a national pavilion at London Packaging Week, the Office aims to support exporting enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in promoting their products, accessing, and conquering the UK market at a reasonable cost.
At the event, Vietnamese products garnered strong interest from businesses and consumers due to their diverse materials, environmental friendliness, and compliance with export standards for the UK and European markets.
Mr. Ba noted that Vietnamese enterprises have great potential to penetrate the UK packaging market. In fact, these businesses have prepared to varying degrees for expanding exports to developed markets, including the European Union (EU), North America, and the UK.
London Packaging Week is the UK's premier trade promotion event for packaging, showcasing packaging products for diverse industries ranging from food, premium beverages, fast-moving consumer goods to luxury items and cosmetics.
Mr. Chris Newhouse, Sales Director of London Packaging Week 2025, was quoted by the news agency as saying that this was the 15th year the event had been organized, attracting over 200 exhibiting businesses and approximately 5,500 visitors over the two days.
