Authorities in the Mekong Delta’s Vinh Long province have approved a project to build a resettlement area in Binh Tan district with total investment of over VND299 billion ($12.6 million).

To be implemented in the 2023-2025 period, the project will build resettlement housing for 317 households relocated for the construction of infrastructure at the Gilimex Vinh Long Industrial Park and other projects serving the province’s socio-economic development.

It will cover an area of 98,500 sq m.

The authorities asked Binh Tan district to direct the project’s investor to carry out investment and construction works in line with regulations and to coordinate with relevant agencies to allocate sufficient capital for construction to ensure project progress.
