Authorities in northern Vinh Phuc province have granted investment licenses to two FDI projects worth some VND2.5 trillion ($100 million).

The licenses were presented to investors at a conference in northern Quang Ninh province on February 12 regarding the implementation of the government’s action plan to realize a Politburo resolution on directions for socio-economic development and ensuring defense and security in the Red River Delta to 2030 and vision to 2045.

They include a wholly Japanese-invested project from the Asahi Intec Hanoi Joint Stock Company at the Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park to manufacture, process, and assemble products used in the health sector and other industries. The project is expected to be put into operation from the first quarter of 2025 and create 1,600 jobs.

The other project will be invested in by the Bhflex Vina Co. at the Khai Quang Industrial Park to produce electronic spare parts.
