Cyber security experts and information technology businesses shared their experience and measures to prevent risks when using online banking services at an online forum held by VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times on October 2.
The forum aimed at providing banking customers with the latest information on online scams in cyberspace and measures to prevent becoming a victim.
Participants also spoke of security methods to help customers protect their data.
There are over 77.93 million internet users in Vietnam, accounting for more than 79 per cent of the population.

The government has identified cashless payment as one of the key pillars in the process of digital transformation. Digital transformation has already brought many benefits for people and the economy, but online crime is also rising.
Figures from the Department of Information Security at the Ministry of Information and Communications show that online fraud in Vietnam increased nearly 65 per cent year-on-year in the first half.
