Authorities of central Nghe An province have approved investment policy for a project building an urban, trade and service area with an estimated investment capital of over VND1.1 trillion ($43.2 million).
The project covers more than 33 ha in Nam Dan district.
It will build adjacent houses of three storeys, shophouses of four storeys, and housing and commercial buildings of seven to nine storeys. It will meet housing demand for 3,000 residents upon completion.
Authorities of Nam Dan district will organize bid to choose investors for the project.
In the first six months of the year, Nghe An licensed 39 investment projects with a total registered capital of over VND14.29 trillion ($561 million).
Of which, there are 3 FDI projects worth $48 million.
They include many major projects such as Nghi Lien urban area with an estimated investment capital of VND6.29 trillion ($247 million); Con Bau urban and trade area, VND2 trillion ($78.5 million); and a FDI project building battery production plant, $40 million.
