The Ministry of Transport has not yet been able to find the capital needed to upgrade National Highway No. 2D running through northern Yen Bai province before 2025, but will allocate VND1.8 trillion ($78 million) to the province to complete three projects under investment and start a new route connecting northern mountainous Ha Giang province with the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Highway.
