Authorities in south-central Binh Thuan province have granted licenses to 90 new enterprises this year with total registered capital of VND1.4 trillion ($59 million).
Three projects were licensed in February, with capital of VND84.1 billion ($351,000).
The Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee said the economy began to recover last year and many sectors posted high growth, such as manufacturing and processing, tourism, transport, retail, and exports. The province’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth stood at 7.75 per cent in 2022.
It will strive to fulfill all 17 socio-economic targets this year, including GRDP growth of 7.2 per cent, export turnover of $974 million, and State budget collections of VND10 trillion ($418 million).
