The People’s Council of northern Bac Giang province has approved the investment policy for the Ha Bac 1 Bridge project that will connect Bac Giang with neighboring Bac Ninh province.
The project has an investment capital estimated at VND1.7 trillion ($66 million).
The bridge is designed to have a width of 22.5m and a length of 970m.
Construction is scheduled to start in 2026 and complete in 2027.
The project is expected to help enhance transport connection as well as contribute to promoting the development of industrial parks and attracting more investment.
It will become an important gateway connecting Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.
