The Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC) has approved the implementation plan for the National Year of Digital Data, with activities held to promote data administration in the digital environment.

The Year will focus on developing open data and databases, promoting the use of digital platforms, and improving data administration capacity in localities to ensure data security.

With the theme “Open Data”, the program will kick off from April. Activities will include the announcement of an action plan for 2023 from the National Committee on Digital Transformation and the issuance of a Prime Ministerial Directive on data development for socio-economic growth and national digital transformation.

MoIC will launch an open data month and announce a new version of the national data portal at data.gov.vn.

In the following months, the focus will be on a professional database, data analysis, data administration, and data human resources.
