The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has set a target of serving nearly 119 million passengers in 2025, up 7.4% year-on-year.
Of the total, international passengers are expected to reach 44 million, surging 7.2% year-on-year.
The ACV targeted to gain a revenue of over VND21.78 trillion ($853 million) next year. Pre-tax profit is expected to reach more than VND10.71 trillion ($419 million).
Regarding infrastructure development, the ACV plans to put into operation some key projects, including Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City, and expanded Terminal T2 at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi.
Some projects are scheduled to start in 2025, including construction Terminal T2 at Cat Bi airport in northern Hai Phong city, and Terminal T2 at Dong Hoi airport in central Quang Binh province, and upgrade of Ca Mau airport in southernmost Ca Mau province.
In 2024, airports managed by the ACV served an estimated total of 109 million passengers, fulfilling 96% of the annual plan.
Total revenue is estimated at VND21.466 trillion ($840 million), up 8% compared to 2023.
