The price of apartments in Ho Chi Minh City has increased 15-20% annually during the 2015-2023 period, according to the municipal Department of Construction.
The price of affordable apartments has risen from VND25-35 million ($982-1,375) per sq m in 2015 to VND40-60 million ($1,571-2,357) per sq m in 2023.
Meanwhile, mid-range apartments have surged from VND35-50 million ($1,375-1,964) per sq m in 2015 to VND50-70 million ($1,964-2,750) per sq m in 2023.
The price of high-end apartments has climbed from VND50 million ($1,964) per sq m in 2015 to VND70-100 million ($2,750-3,929) per sq m in 2023.
Regarding social housing development, the city has seven projects that are under construction. They will supply nearly 5,000 units for low income earners and workers.
