Ba Ria-Vung Tau to auction land plots for commercial use

Huge demand exists for land in the southern province for trade and services.

Southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province plans to conduct auctions of three “golden” land plots that will be used for commercial and services purposes.

The land plots cover 13.83 ha, 3.92 ha, and 2.86 ha in Vung Tau city.

It will also auction three other land plots in Long Dien district, covering 0.669 ha, 0.682 ha, and 0.478 ha.

The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee said there is huge demand for commercial and services land to develop major tourism projects in the province, which will help promote the development of the local tourism industry.

Total non-agricultural land in the province is estimated at 53,463 ha, accounting for 30 per cent of its natural land area. Of this, land for industrial parks covers 6,749 ha, land for industrial clusters 180 ha, and land for commercial and services use 2,207 ha.
