The Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) has announced that it will increase its foreign ownership ratio to 30 per cent. This will allow the bank to seek more international cooperation.
The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), in cooperation with 13 Japanese banks, held the Japan Customer Conference 2022 on November 15, with the participation of more than 200 Japanese enterprises. With the goal of accompanying Japanese investors in Vietnam, BIDV strives to coordinate with Japanese partner banks, not only providing good quality banking products and services but also offering support and information to customers on Vietnam’s business investment environment.

Figures from FiinPro show that, in the week from November 7 to November 11, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) invested more than VND2.1 trillion ($84.4 million) in Vietnamese stocks, an increase of nearly three-fold compared to the previous week. Foreign ETFs outlaid more than VND1.5 trillion ($60.3 million).
