Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the investor in the Long Thanh International Airport in southern Dong Nai province, plans to invite tenders for certain key contract packages in the first and second quarters of this year.

These include Packages 4.7, 4.8, 4.9, 7.8, and 11.5.

Package 4.7 covers the construction and installation of equipment for aircraft take-offs and landings and other associated facilities. Construction of this package is scheduled to begin in April this year and be completed within two years.

Package 4.8, meanwhile, involves the construction, installation, and preparation of plans for internal roads and technical infrastructure. It is scheduled to start in April and be completed after two years.

Package 4.9 involves the construction and installation of equipment for fuel supply.

Package 7.8 is the construction and installation of equipment for Cargo Terminal No. 1 and its associated projects, and is expected to start in June and be completed by May 2026.

And Package 11.5 covers the construction of a parking lot and the installation of equipment. It is scheduled to kick off in June and be completed by May 2026.

Long Thanh International Airport will have total investment of an estimated VND336.63 trillion ($13.74 billion).
