The Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has selected investors for 28 social housing projects via bidding, according to local authorities.

The projects will supply 24,675 housing with a total floor space of 1.5 million cu m in the south-central province.

Total investment stands at VND13.99 trillion ($583 million).

The projects will contribute to implementing the government plan on building at least a million social housing units for low-income earners and workers at industrial parks.

Since 2021, the province has built three social housing projects and the first phase of another with a total of 1,841 units. Investment was nearly VND1.8 trillion ($75 million).

The province has also begun construction of three other projects and part of another that will provide 3,586 housing units with a total floor space of 201,555 cu m. Investment is over VND3.1 trillion ($129 million).
